His dam is one of the last daughters of the imported *Paarden, who is a Western Pleasure champion and a half-brother to *Padron (same dam), and out of a rare granddaughter of *Serafix.
Royal Gem is dark chestnut with a white mane and tail, and is a Regional Top Five Sport Horse Stallion at just age 2.
